I made an AA booking via chase travels on Dec 31 using my Chase freedom, and the transaction date while it was in the pending state was Dec 31. The charge posted today, but the transaction date changed to Jan 1. The 2x points for booking through Chase offer was only valid till Dec 31, and because of this weird change, I didn't get it. Can I call in and ask for a review? Is there any chance I can claim the offer, especially since I have the confirmation email dated Dec 31?
