I've been staying there quite frequently in the last months and can say that things are SLOWLY improving. There is a new GM I believe - although I have never seen her.
I now get everything prepared (Welcome drink voucher, welcome letter, fruits in the room, etc) so that's good.
The restaurant on the ground floor has gone through a makeover (the last 4 months) and should be open soon.
Lounge still gets packed, but the guys up there do their best.
Recently over new year they were slow in replenishing the afternoon snacks. Some guests got upset. What they could do is at least prepare the room temp dishes and keep then wrapped up behind the doors. Every time something runs out they replenish it from the kitchen on the ground floor.
Welcome drinks voucher.... hmm: Guava, Mango or Orange juice. A bit cheap.
I'll continue to stay here until the Pullman next door has renovated rooms - and then I'll give them a try.
The building under construction next door (between the Novotel and the Pullman) should be done within 2016. That building too will have a bridge link to Pavilion. So there will be a quick access from the Pullman to the Pavilion too.
