It would have to be super-new. I've flown in a bulkhead with my daughter in the past. She's now 7 and On Dec 29 I flew SJC-DEN with her in a bulkhead seat. The agent at the airport put us in those seats, and I don't think all other seats were taken (though maybe it was the only pair of seats adjacent to each other).
