Obviously it's arguable how luxurious the various hotels are, but it's a mistake to believe that these hotels are completely immune to intrusions from us mere mortals.

There are some more I'd add to SanDiego1K's list for the major chains; IC Danang, RC HK, perhaps Schloss Fuschl and some St Regi (Florence, Bali, for instance).

There's an option to redeem Choice hotel points for "luxury" hotels; many aren't by the lofty standards of this forum, but some are, e.g., The Siam.

LHW also has a reward program, and even though it doesn't involve points, it's very gameable and allows access to any number of very ritzy properties that very likely would be considered adequate by even the standards of this forum's regulars (Royal Monceau, Villa d'Este, Datai, etc).
