Another administration nightmare

Pretty much every trip now, its becoming really tedious.

As some will remember, i managed to book into First Class for the first time and even although i didnt pay the full fare, you still want it to be that little bit special for our first time.

Got to Dublin airport to check in and the guy asks us if we have a coupon or voucher ?????? When i explain im not sure what he means, he walks away to the top desk to speak to someone else. Meanwhile, my brother/sister in law are checked in and ready.(Our bookings split off as we got 2 seats upgraded then another 2)

After about 20 minutes, i walk up to the top desk as they werent coming to tell me what was going on and the girl tells me my flight has changed by 10 minutes and because of that, they havent issues a new ticket.

When i point out that i dont think this is true, she assures me it is. When i then point out my brother/sister in law who were on the same booking, same flights and in same class have just checked in in less than 60 seconds, she mumbles something and picks up the phone.

25 minutes later (45 minutes in total) she has my ticket numbers and is checking me in.

There was then an issue with my ESTA as i had renewed my passport the week before which wasnt BA's fault of course but she made me complete a new one there and then so all in all it was a 60 minute check in and no drinks in the lounge.

8 days on, and my TP and Avios have just updated for the flights. 0 and 0 of course.

Thankfully again, the onboard crew (which i put up a separate post on last week were their usual brilliant self )

BA really are an admin nightmare. Cant wait to call them up when i get back and have the usual fight sorting it? Not ?
