Wait...you can manually un-enroll certain cards?

I hold an Amex Plat, Amex Blue, and Amex DL Plat. I like using the additional insurance for personal trips, but not for certain business trips where our corporate rates include LDW and further corporate travel insurance applies (e.g., the Amex insurance is a waste of money).

So far, avoiding the Amex Insurance has meant moving business rentals to a separate Visa card, but that also means foregoing MR points for those rentals.

So...I can just call in and tell them I want the Amex insurance to apply any time I rent a car with my Amex Plat, but never when I rent a car with my DL Amex?
