Indeed Stockholm is very far away in so many aspects. Try to ask the cute decisionmakers in Stockholm what they woyld think of adding 45 min of traveltime onthe Upsalla - Stockholm route?

Even the Swedish state owned railway SJ had halted their service to Denmark - they do not want the hassle. Imagine what would happen if the Danish railways did the same?

What a sad day day for Nordic travelers. Shame on you Swedish government.
