Oh, come on. You're attacking a straw man. I never said that the FA should have ignored the captain's orders to remain seated. I pointed out that as compared to the OP's unreasonable expectations of lounge access, etc., the expectation of being offered a beverage is perfectly reasonable. The lack of PDB was a missed opportunity. The OP should have been offered at least one beverage of choice, since the AA service standard is to offer beverage of choice prior to departure and anticipated turbulence doesn't affect the FA's ability to offer a PDB. Inflight service should obviously be conducted only when safe to do so.

In the first couple pages of the thread, everyone was piling on the OP for expecting too much, so I felt like someone should say, hey wait a second, expecting a beverage/snack in domestic F, even on a short segment, is reasonable (same for priority bag tags, which apparently also were not provided).
