Planning a trip to South Africa for this fall. We are flying into CPT and out of JNB, staying for 12 nights.

I would like to visit Kruger or one of the private reserves, but would also like to see Victoria Falls. Are the safari lodges around Vic Falls as good as those around Kruger? Or would it be better to spend a night at Vic Falls and go on to Botswana? Or spend time around Kruger and do a separate trip to Vic Falls?

Our itinerary will likely include 5 nights in CPT and environs to start and a night or two in JNB to finish. I just need to fill in the middle...
