6 days is a decent clip.

I'll just toss out some ideas...

It will take a day to fly there...then 6,7 days at a beach resort will be very nice. But then, instead of 'changing countries', consider changing the pace and concept of your lodging. Move to another island, rent a 4x4, a home or villa or hotel room but now an 'interior/land' location (not a isolated beachfront thing.) Maybe you are near Suva- some days exploring a city, rainforests, etc.

(Its been 25 years since I was last in Fiji, wife was in the peace corp there, but there is quite a range of things to do. We were in Nadi for a day, Qamea for a week, Suva for 4 days.)
