Spent a week there during Christmas, overall a great hotel. Breakfast in the lounge was lacking, but for the price I can't complain. Hotel is beautiful, and the location was actually excellent in my opinion. A short walk to a huge mall as well as a beautiful park that stretches for miles. Restaurants in the hotel were reasonably priced and very good. Rooms were overall very nice, could tell they renovated them recently. Cheap uber rides to all of the touristy stuff.

I was charged nearly the full amount (only two of my nights had the split charge to AMEX, the rest charged 100% to me), so I did get a lot of points, however I will have to speak with AMEX to get the difference credited back manually since I have emails indicating they will honor the rate.
