What did the receipt show when you returned the car? What you expected or the new total, with the additional 94 Euros on it? What kind of car did you rent?

Not quite sure how this is relevant. Avis doesn't average your rental periods to get around extra day fees. If you returned a Rug Doctor to Walmart 40 minutes late and they tried to charge you, would you expect them to drop the late fee since you took one back early to the grocery store across town?
