Thanks for raising this issue - I had no idea it might be a calendar year and just assumed it was one year from account opening. Having got the card in December and put a couple of grand on it then, I'd be annoyed if that didn't count towards my voucher this year.

However, given (a) the reply you've got from Lloyd's and (b) common sense, I suspect the use of 'calendar year' is simply poor wording and it is actually based on the anniversary year.
