I have a similar question to above. I always assumed the voucher was triggered based on spend in the year from your card anniversary (in my case April-April). I just realised I'm £2000 shy of the £7000 target and plan to spend more than that in a transaction next week. Ideally I'd put it on my new SPG Amex but the upgrade voucher would swing it in favour of the Lloyds Amex. However I just noticed the T&Cs mention calendar year. If that is the case I've just missed out (doh!) as it is now January and my spend in 2015 was a few hundred £ below the threshold.

As there seems to be uncertainty about this, how is it working in reality? Does anyone have any experience of whether it goes off calendar year or anniversary year?
