On my recent return from Amsterdam through MSP, I brought back a bag of no less than 20 lighters. They were souvenirs of the Amsterdam 'coffeeshops'. Several of them were refillable. TSA was not interested in the lighters, and did not even ask if they had gas in them (they did not). They were MUCH more interested in asking me whether I had brought anything else from the coffeeshops. They missed the potentially dangerous stuff because they were distracted by the possibility that I might be carying a harmless herb.
