Warning! I noticed that Hyatt used to recredit points on a separate line when I cancelled an award reservation. Now they just erase the line where the points were originally debited, so no trace of any points transaction shows on the account! So if you want to reserve an award room as an 'activity,' do it for a year or so into the future, THEN wait to cancel until you really do have a real activity post!
