Room not ready, so moved to room on 6th floor which was better as the one I chose did not have much of an aeroplane view! It was an earlier (slightly) check in, so all good.
Two water, internet, no drinks vouchers, I would have to agree breakfast for a Garden Inn is very good, very professionally delivered. Excellent egg/ omelette station.
My only gripe was that no upgrade was offered (I know its not a Garden Inn benefit, but reading up thread they often do for Diamonds)- only because this would have meant a king with sofa with the best aeroplane/ runway views! Hopefully next time.
I must also add I was very impressed with how clean the bathroom was, it was very clean and smelt clean.
Overall a good stay, and I would use again.
Seems we go the same service as I was moved on the day, due to my room not being available, also to the 6th floor. For an HGI you don't get drinks vouchers, but you get the two bottles of water instead, which I see you got. I ordered an omelette in the morning and it was spot on. I'm a plane spotter so I was perfectly suited for watching arrivals on 27L. My bathroom was also spotless, as indeed all rooms are at this hotel, as I've stayed there before.
