Oh it was worse than that, though it's actually a computer sending it out: “Joe Bloggs you are DELAYING the flight. Please board at gate D52 or we will proceed to offload your luggage!" I am not sure I've heard the Dutch language version for a while but that's even worse "Pik van Uittenbroek - u vertraagt de vlucht!" I once got pinged by this, even though I was on the airbridge, since the agent hadn't scanned my boarding pass properly. I did vaguely consider asking the airport authorities to broadcast a correction notice a week later.

I agree that BA's moral compass won't be badly disturbed by this, if they can find it.
