Usually the staff at Schiphol seem to take delight in announcing "Passenger Joe Bloggs on Elbonian Airways to Elbonia, immediate boarding at gate F67, your baggage will be offloaded" before taking you off the flight.
I suspect BA consider you to have been sufficiently punished already.
