I spent one night here recently and was overall disappointed. Took 20 minutes from the airport and nothing else is nearby. Only benefit of being a Gold member was the choice of points or a welcome drink. Since the bar was closed when I arrived, I chose the points.

My room seemed poorly constructed -- minor things like bubbles in the wallpaper, gaps between faucet and sink, and loud footsteps in the room above me. Also a gap between the room and the outside door, plenty of room for insects and even geckos to enter. View of the golf course was nice and the bathroom was very large.

If you want any amenities found in 5-star hotels, such as a morning newspaper, coffee, toothbrush, etc., you have to ask for them. Quality of breakfast was below expectations; cooked-to-order eggs poorly done, most foods were not hot, bacon was rubbery, fruit had no flavor, etc.

I thought I might play golf but guests only receive a 10% discount and paying around 6K baht seemed too much (4K for greens fee, 1.5K for rental clubs, plus caddy). The course did look well maintained though. No reason for me to return.
