I'm in charge of a 40-person meeting at my local SPG hotel. Catering bill at hotel will be about $5k. The total room revenue for meeting guests is about $13k. How many points can I anticipate by putting it on my SPG Amex? Would it be 5x for the 5k catering bill? 2x Amex points at SPG property and 3x SPG points? I have a contract but I can't quite figure out the end game. Do I get anything for the room revenue?
