And, always remember to negotiate there. I won't say anything more than that.
Thank you very much for recommending De Catarina. I have been wanting a Briggs & Riley Rolling Laptop Bag for weeks but only saw the bags in person for the first time last week at Evex, on Doncaster in Thornhill. After two hours at Evex, I left undecided and frustrated.

When I walked into De Catarina, a woman walked towards me and I knew immediately she was the owner. You're right. She is awesome. I said her store was highly recommended on this forum and she seemed genuinely thrilled.

Her service was phenomenal. I told her I couldn't decide between the @Work line and the Verb Navigator. She expertly explained the difference and then insisted I load up the bag with my MacBook, tablet and cables. I didn't have my projector with me so she held up different phone books and asked which one was closest in size to my projector (Ha...I just remembered.... her phone book is still in the bag!).

The Navigator was so obviously perfect; I don't know what I was thinking at Evex.

I was a little concerned about the price. I hadn't even looked at the tag. I expected to pay more at Bay & Bloor than I would have at Evex. Evex is known for lower prices and the Briggs & Riley line was much less expensive than I saw anywhere online.

No need to worry. De Catarina's prices are excellent. I also followed the advice I quoted above.

In summary, an amazing shopping experience. I am so excited about my bag. I highly recommend you talk to Catarina about your luggage needs if you are in Toronto. And most importantly, thank you again to Super Angry Penguin. I never would have found De Catarina without you.

Here are a couple of pictures of my new bag... The Verb Navigator
