24 hour cancellation policy and eGift Card use

Does anyone know, if I cancel a Delta itinerary within 24 hours of its purchase, and used a combination of an eGift card and credit card for initial purchase, will my eGift cards funds be reloaded back onto that card? Cannot seem to find how that works.
