No wonder you don't have much enthusiasm if the forecast is as they say. Probably better to go for a drive somewhere for the day just to alleviate the boredom of the festive period.

I remember as a boy we'd go for a drive to Largs or Troon just to see the sea and skim stones. Then we'd make a beeline for the nearest chippy to warm up with some fish and chips. You might hate it but the kids will probably enjoy it.
