If I was buying from a consolidator , I would research and make sure that it is a reputablk agency before going to it. That would be the obvious approach - even if not knowing about the miles scam , just a basic check on a company before handing over thousands of dollars seems sensible
Did this dodgy agent take credit cards?
The Dodgy agent accepted credit cards but he said that he does tack on a fee to do so, if we were willing to pay via Paypal or Amazon he would not tack on the fee.
