The Mumblea is pretty enough and further west there is coastal scenery the equal of Cornwall. However I am the best part of 2 decades out of touch with the hotel and dining scene so can't help there. Swansea certainly wasn't a place you'd stay in voluntarily in the late 90's.
How's the forecast for North Norfolk which is always a treat and closer to home?
