I had filed a report at YYZ and within 10 minutes got a call from the baggage desk to apologize and tell me they had located my bag and it would be delivered in the morning. I got the impression that this was some sort of SE baggage desk but I could be wrong. In any case, a much better experience than dealing with that India call centre who only seems to know how to read from scripts.
This is a cool / nice perk to have as an SE! As a lolly P25k when my bag missed its connecting flight. I did my original claim at the airport. I was left to sort the rest out myself and began prodding AC's social media team to do something.
Seeing how the OP hasn't had any interaction with AC for a while now. If I were in those shoes. I would reach out via twitter still. Is there another way to reach the AC baggage desk without having to go through India? Perhaps concierge as an SE?
