SAS need to train their phone sales agents

Yesterday I was looking at booking a trip OSL-EWR-LAX-OSL for November 2016. Since it's impossible to book a trip like that online I had to call SAS. That was a bad experience.

First call: "Sorry, but I can not help you with that. SAS does not fly EWR-LAX. I can book OSL-EWR and LAX-OSL for you, but you need to call United or another airline to book EWR-LAX"! I said "That is NOT true, I have booked trips like this with SAS many times. You can book the whole trip including EWR-LAX on United". The last reply: "That's not possible, anything else I can help you with?"

Second call: "Sorry, but that's too far ahead. I can only book travels 300 days from now.". I said "No, you can book that. I can even book OSL-EWR and LAX-OSL online today". The last reply: "Sorry sir, that is not possible. You have to wait until 300 days before your travel"!

I geave up and checked with United. There I booked OSL-EWR-LAX-OSL without any problems. Also much cheaper than SAS (I didn't get the price for the full trip on SAS, but the whole trip with United was cheaper than OSL-EWR and LAX-OSL with SAS!!!).
