It seems a pervasive practice. Btw, since this is business travel, I didn't even know but my rate also includes the LDW. How can a company be so clueless as this? I have purchased their LDW and Avis still threatens to bill me for damages. I also rent approximately +25 times per year. Yesterday I got a survey in my email about how my customer service experience was. Ha! I talked to someone about their experiences with National and they said it has been great. I guess that is where I should take my business?
