They don't actually get off the aircraft

I was recently was on a flight where the crew were actually really interested as to why a fellow passenger was doing this. On this occasion it was not forming part of an ex-EU but just a mini TP run to maintain gold status from what I gathered. The crew member actually commended the gentleman in question for his loyalty!!

What the crew think certainly shouldn't put you off (they won't be bothered one iota anyway). If anything, a good rapport and chinwag with the crew on the outbound surrounding the situation could potentially be quite useful in these circumstances.
