This happens to me whenever I have award seats on partner flights. Once I have called the partner and chosen my seat(s), United dot com never shows the correct seats, but I always receive them. When I either check-in with the partner or use the transfer desk, the correct seats are on the boarding pass. Hope you have the same experience!
Same in my experience. Sometimes UA won't show the updated seat but checking the partner's site it is correct.
