As for the comment upthread about KL moving to T1, spaces issues aside they're better off in T4 with DL where transfers are much easier and the lounge is good enough. Co-locating KL and AF in T1 doesn't really accomplish anything from a passenger perspective, and arguably makes things worse by needing to reclear security when EU-bound.
I meant that co-locating KL and AF would make sense because it would represent economies of scale as always. They are one company after all and it is cheaper to only have all the operations of one company in one terminal. But like you, I do not think there is any prospect of KL moving nor would I like them to.
On your first point, my point is not about the whole US-Paris network on AF in general, but specifically that the five AF flights from JFK to CDG are a micro operation from DL's point of view, and tiny as part of their JFK-base. It's not as though a JFK T4-T1 bus was going to facilitate transfers between DL domestic and AF passengers at LAX

So from that point of view, for DL, there is really no interest in that bus link considering the price. For AF it is different: JFK is their primary entry point into the US and as such, they might want to boast a seamless domestic connection with DL flights but I just don't think they would want to add that cost and AF at JFK is still proportionally more O/D than BA at ORD or QF at LAX (or for that matter AF at ATL).
