Please allow me to clarify:

If you choose USD as the currency on our site, your card is charged in USD and you should not see a Singapore Dollar amount appearing on your card statement (kindly contact our service team if you experienced otherwise).

Each bank independently decides how exactly to apply FX fees, and their policies may differ from card to card. Some charge FX fees only when the card currency and the transaction currency are different (e.g. if you use your USD card and shop online in EUR). Others, however, charge FX fees even when the currencies match (e.g. if you use your USD card to shop in USD on Kaligo.com) as long as the merchant is located overseas.
