Exactly. Mid March to mid April was readily available 12 months out.

Cherry blossom season in Kyoto has become explosively popular among Asian visitors, and while most are on package tours and don't stay at HR Kyoto, there are plenty of individual travellers that do, plus no lack of Japanese guests as well.
