Last time, the purser had to act as the kid police while the mom just sat there.
TK is a great alternative, despite less PQM earned.

Dad kept coming back to check and ensure they were doing homework, which they were for the 20 seconds that dad was there. Also My GPU success rate on this route is 0/6 in the last year. That's with a W upfare. At T-24 I checked in and saw 3 seats left, me #1 on the list and TOD's going for $1249-$2499. At departure I was in Y. I am still fuming about the way UA treats their supposed elite customers.
