Alas, sad and familiar story. BA 16 which I took a week ago from SYD to SIN was MF and very unimpressive. Food service took forever to get started, 2+ hours. All aspects of service were hit and miss. Since the Champagne and white wine were room temperature, I asked for ice... never came... was a very warm day in SYD but 2.5 hours into the flight I might have expected they would have been able to chill the wine. Small but cumulatively annoying. Subsequent flights on Cathay - HKG-LHR and BA LHR-LAX were of a much higher order.
