I've used Tripit for years and love how it interleaves all the aspects of my itinerary. I also love the Trip Alerts that tell me flight delays and gate assignments. I didn't love it Christmas Day. I got a text in the morning saying that an evening international fight was canceled. I sprung into action, looking for alternatives. The flight had been booked using BA miles and I knew it would be quite a feat to reach an agent on Christmas Day. And I called the carrier whose flight was allegedly canceled. It wasn't. They had no idea why TripIt would send such a notice. The flight went out as scheduled.
