Once the NKG - Nanjing South railway station rail link is open, Nanjing is set to become THE transport hub in China.

Already considering to rent an apartment in the vicinity as Shanghai Hongqiao is around 1hour 15 minutes from Nanjingnan, Beijingnan 3 hours 30 minutes and there are excellent HSR connections for example to Hangzhou, Qingdao, Wuhan and many urban areas in Anhui province.

Also, I do like Nanjing a lot, on a completely different level for comfort and accessibility compared to Beijing, Shanghai etc. Only Suzhou is maybe higher on my personal list but alas lacks on international flights (although they try their best at WUX)
