I kinda like that they have kept the ocean front an open area. I rather enjoy the beach or pool from a chair in a garden like area rather than look at some concrete...... most hotels in HH are similar.
The Regency Club and chairs overlooking the sea are great.
I think most guests probably have a similar negative reaction when they first see their rooms, but after a little while come to appreciate that the room is the least important part of the package.
