Thank you for the information, g_leyser - I do greatly appreciate it. However, I did already know that bit of information. I realize that the hotel is guaranteed to charge me for that room even if I do not show up, but I also know the hotel cannot charge my credit card if I do show up but do not get a room. Good thing I showed up!
