Sorry for misleading.. Yes, This is a "pay now" reservation. This is the first time I am using avis official website to book a rental. Previously, always using priceline. Now I got amex platinum card and world mastercard elite membership, I was trying to see if they really can provide better benefits and discount. Yes they did, mastercard elite even provide a free weekend and preferred plus membership. That's why I switched from amex platinum AWD to mastercard elite AWD. So, does it mean if I use "pay now" (It was cheaper of course), I cannot avoid cancellation fee when I want to?
