My annual fee posts 12/29/15 and I've already received my annual 10K bonus miles. I did have the card with the perpetual bonus every year. Don't know if that helps, but I'm still unsure if they'll post next year as well since I no longer see that benefit on any literature Barclays sends me nowadays.

But I wouldn't say "gladly" because there are still cheaper ways to get miles from CCs, with 25k and 50k signup offers out there. The best outcome is getting those 10k miles without paying the fee.
I'm going to call in and see if I can have them waive the annual fee. I'll report back. I also received the 15K bonus offer for spending 500/500/500 in Dec/Jan/Feb and the 2X miles on grocery store/movies/utilities so I'm curious how lenient they'll be considering this.
