Just some follow-up points on my stay:
Taxi from Taipei Taoyuan Airport to the Aloft Zhongshan was TWD 1,055.-
Breakfast was included in my room rate, but if it wasn't, I would probably skip it (don't know how much it would cost), and head to a nearby Starbucks (not sure if there is one) or coffee shop instead. Breakfast consists of made-to-order eggs; the rest is buffet style: two choices of juice or milk; a bread/pastry station; congee and soup station; some Chinese/local condiments; salad station; coffee/tea; I think there were some fresh fruits, but I do not recall exactly. The entire restaurant could accommodate thirty covers at one time.
There is a Family Mart CVS right across the street.
To Poster above: Sorry, I cannot compare the Aloft with the Sheraton since I have not stayed at the latter before. In general, I am not a very big fan of Sheratons and only choose them as a last choice.
