AC sends me two every year, and when attached, it guarantees any "reasonable" bag will be under the official size limit, and you'll never have a problem.
It can't do miracles (it won't get a full suitcase under the limit), but it's been pretty good at shrinking over-stuffed bags.
Perhaps you are referring to the super elite tag, which I'm sure helps.
However, twice this year, AC has taken the special Do tag (no one should describe this tag please because AC employees monitor this board), seriously, which has helped me tremendously
