I am Oneworld Emerald (AA Explat).

I shall be travelling Y LHR-CDG on a BA coach ticket "Hold baggage allowed", immediately connecting to CDG-JFK on an AA ticket in J (I know it looks ludicrous but let us not get into WHY I have to do it...). Obviously, 2 different PNRs

Having ample time in CDG, I shall collect my bags and recheck them with AA in CDG, I know all the local bags transfer horror stories.

BA allows me 2 bags @ 32kgs each
AA allows me 3 bags @ 32 kgs each.

What will happen in LHR T5 if I show up with 2 heavy suitcases (less than 32 Kgs), 1 smaller/lighter bag (maybe 10 kgs) which ideally I would like to check and a normal roll-on carry-on briefcase, 6-8 kgs?

1) Shall I be allowed to check the 3rd lighter bag for free, does it depend on the agent or is it a complete no-no?

2) If not, shall I be allowed to take the 3rd lighter bag as a 2nd carry-on ?
