(Coming back on Germanwings, Swiss, and United flights on the 4th...Berlin to Hamburg on a 1am bus, HAM-ZRH, ZRH-LHR, LHR-SFO...also should be fun. Odds of a GPU clearing on that are far lower. Unclear if it's worth 20k miles + $455 on the LHR-SFO leg alone.)
Being that LH455 is available for a business award tomorrow 12/25, you should be able to confirm a GPU immediately I think. If you are not now ticketed with the GPU applied, you should call again. To be fair I don't understand the process as well as some others here as I've not used a GPU on LH since the paper days.
