Lunch

Pdb offered. Took a while after takeoff for drink orders to be taken, followed by cold nuts.

Lunch choices: Lasagna or Asian chicken salad. App was caprese salad, cheesecake for desert . Hey, wasn't this what I had for lunch/dinner last Saturday on AA1444? Yup. Hard to be mad at the chicken salad, flavor wise. Just wish we weren't still doing the double salad thing...and that the salad plate was deeper.

Neither nuts nor bread were warmed. Not an oven issue (see: lasagna). Yes, black linens were set before trays.

Other notable rides up front in the past few months have had me with snack basket only service. Am I the only one that wishes the long red eyes would get an upgraded snack basket? Or that it would vary more like the old LUS one did with monthly rotations?
