One Sunday afternoon in 2014, I flew from Cambridge to Dublin T1 via Cityjet. Plane landed on the Dublin runway at 1745 and I had one hour to get through the airport to T2 and be sat on my connecting flight back to the UK which was scheduled to depart 1850.
As soon as I walked off the plane steps, I hared through T1, into arrivals (flight connections not accessible), ran through the walkway to T2, through security (no fast track), and I was sat in the T2 departure lounge eight minutes later.
Admittedly I didn't arrive at one of those distant Ryanair gates, have to wait for hold luggage, face a queue at any time, or have to pre-clear for US entry, but I've always been pretty flippin' pleased about doing it in eight minutes. I'd like to think it's a record.
