Well I do hope they'd have given their employees a different, more empowered interface by now; but obviously can't be sure, this is AI after all.
But plenty travel agents can easily ticket it all the way through.
I don't think OP has to anything more to gain by booking directly through AI instead of a travel portal (like miles on a co-branded card).
