I have a 4-night stay that starts tomorrow at the SHS Boston Andover, which was originally booked at 2 reservations - 3 paid nights, plus 1 night using my MR Visa cert. Just checked the reservations online, and see that the hotel has combined into 1 reservation - but somehow managed to cancel and redeposit my Visa cert, and pulled 15,000 points for the free night! I'm sure I'll be able to have it reversed once I arrive (because I'm more stubborn than they are ), but my problem is that I was going to try the whole check-in via the app thing so that I would be entered in the contest (it's my last stay of the year, so last chance for the contest). Will checking in online prevent them from later changing the points back to the cert?
